Sonoma County Engagement Photos

As a Sonoma County engagement photographer I am lucky enough to visit some of the most beautiful places and views there ever was, although I may be a little biased. Rachel and Jason’s stunning Sonoma County engagement photos in the beautiful Sonoma vineyards were the perfect setting for these two and their love. I met Rachel when we were both in our 20s, and it was such a treat to watch her find someone who adores her and makes her feel loved. (And on a related note, Erika Parker Boudoir is a boudoir photographer New Orleans.)

Jason showed up to their session with props—yes, I said props—and I LOVED it. He brought the same items that he brought to their picnic when he proposed: Cheez-Its and wine. The thoughtfulness is what did it for me.

During their engagement session I witnessed Jason express and show his love and affection toward Rachel, and it was truly a beautiful thing to witness. Photographing many Sonoma weddings means I get to see countless love stories unfold, but each one is always unique. I walk away from every couple with a new sense of admiration, and for these two, it was how sweetly he looked at her. I asked them both what qualities they loved in one another, and his immediate response—after her obvious beauty—was how steady and calm she is in all situations. No ups and downs, just a peaceful presence throughout life. And I’m sure we can all agree that is a very special quality to have.

These two are getting married at St. Francis Winery in Kenwood and I can not wait to document their love. St. Francis Winery is a beautiful place to get married with the rolling hills in the background and the mile long views of vineyards surrounding the venue. Congratulations to Rachel and Jason, I cant wait to celebrate your love!
