After a venue and date reschedule from last year, Chris and Brittany finally had their beautiful wedding ceremony at B.R Cohn Winery in Glen Ellen, CA. Like many 2020 brides they had to make some significant changes to how, when and where and how they celebrate their wedding. From date changes, reception location shifts and lowered guest count these two ended up having the wedding ceremony of their dreams. Surrounded by their closest family and friends they promised each other forever surrounded by the vineyards and olive trees, it doesn’t get more Sonoma County than that! One of the perks of being a Sonoma County wedding photographer is being able to spend my days at such beautiful venues like B.R Cohn.
Brittany was extremely calm and excited while she was getting ready for her ceremony. Stunning as ever she walked down in front of the vineyards to have a private first look with Chris. They waited a long time for this moment and their joy was all over their faces. Afterwards they were joined with their wedding party and finished the majority of her portraits prior to the ceremony.Although it was a significantly warm day the entire wedding party had smiles on their faces.
I cant write about photographing a wedding at the beautiful B.R Cohn winery without mentioning he long walk down to the ceremony site which and watching Brittany walk down the aisle was absolutely iconic. When she reached Chris, they hugged both sets of their parents and you could see the pride and joy on all the families faces, truly one of my favorite aspects to document on a wedding day. We often forget its not just the bride and groom joining as a family, its their families joining together as well. Instead of facing each other immediately, the two took their time to face their loved ones to take it all in- soaking up every minute.
These two who have been together a long time and have waited too long to be married deserve all the best. Congratulations to Brittany and Chris!
