Bodega Bay Engagement Photos

Lacey and Chase bodega bay engagement photos were taken on Christmas Eve! They live in Texas and were visiting family in Sonoma County and that happened to be the only day that would work. Iam so glad it was because the weather and light at Bodega Bay was  perfect. If you are familiar with our Sonoma Coast then you are aware that the weather out there is usually foggy, cold and windy. In fact the last engagement shoot I had at Bodega Bay the winds were 40mph.

When I was driving out to the coast I couldn’t believe the beautiful day it was. I was surprised to see how many people were out at the coast but I guess it is a common tradition among families. Lacey had told me she wanted coastline and cliffs in the background and easy access to the beach so I knew Portugese Beach would be a good fit for her engagement photos.

I had the best time with these two, to learn about where they live and their upcoming wedding plans. They are getting married at the beautiful Ledson Winery next year and I can not wait! Lacey brought three outfits and we managed to fit them all in before the sun was gone. All her outfits fit well with the beach background and provided movement which I love.
