Heather and Hunter’s B.R Cohn Winery Wedding is what wine country weddings are all about- stunning sunsets and beautiful vineyard views. As a Sonoma County wedding photographer Ive seen some amazing venues but B.R Cohn is on the top of my list as favorite Wine Country wedding venues.The views at B.R Cohn are unbeatable, the sunsets are perfect for photography and well for anyone and the dinner reception under the olive grove is dreamy.It is truly a photographers dream location.

I met Heather and Hunter at their destination engagement session in Donner Lake which is in the Tahoe area. Their deep love for adventure and hiking was important for them to display in their engagement session so what better place to showcase these two love for adventure than the beautiful Tahoe area. They are such a fun loving, joyous couple it truly was an honor to document their engagement session.

Fast forward to the day of their wedding Heather got ready at a beautiful rental down the road from B.R Cohn and was surrounded by a dream team of bridesmaids and her sweet Mom. All smiles while getting ready, Heather truly is the sweetest. They took a shuttle to B.R Cohn where she put her wedding dress on and did a first look with her bridesmaids. With their jaws wide open and tears in their eyes they embraced Heather and how stunning she looked in her gown.

Although Hunter and Heather did not do a first look with each other Heather did do a first look with her father which is always a favorite of mine to document.

With the most perfect light and smiles from Hunter the two vowed each other forever underneath the oak tree with the vineyards in the background. We took some beautiful family, wedding party and couples portraits before the two entered cocktail hour to mingle with their friends and family.

Later on in the evening when the sun was setting I took the two in the vines for some unforgettable sunset portraits. Heather made it clear she loved under the veil photos so we started with these and ended with walking up to the iconic tree at the top of the hill in the vineyard at B.R Cohn.
