As a Windsor newborn photographer I love being able to document a couples first baby in the convenience of their own home. As a mom of three I know first hand how chaotic and overwhelming it can feel to bring your biggest blessing home. Often times parents just want to stay in their newborn bubble in their own home with all the things they need for a newborn and the feeling of traveling for your newborn portrait session can feel daunting. In the first couple of weeks, babies thrive in familiar environments. The smell, temperature, and sounds of home help keep them calm, sleepy, and easier to pose. Parents also tend to feel more at ease without the pressure of getting everyone out the door on time—especially when running on limited sleep.
