Tayler and Greg married at one of my favorite local venues, Vintners Resort Santa Rosa wedding in  CA. Documenting Vintners Resort wedding days are one of my favorites as a photographer and I have been fortunate to document many of them now. The stunning landscape grounds, the perfect lighting at the ceremony to the golden hour in the vineyards is hard to beat. Its a nice mix of all inclusive hotel amenities but in a wine country setting.

They started their wedding day getting ready in separate rooms at Vintners Resort. While Greg relaxed with his groomsmen, Tayler was getting incredible makeup done by Valentina Sotelo and hair by Kay hair stylist. Tayler had a beautiful side braid and flawless skin. All of it paired so well with her wedding dress that had these delicate sleeves.

The two opted to not see each other before the wedding, wanting their first look at the altar. I dont see this often at weddings these days but I completely understand wanting to save the emotions for the ceremony. Watching Gregs feelings shown in his face standing up at the altar waiting for Tayler was a special moment.

After their beautiful ceremony the two took many family portraits and were able to enjoy cocktail hour.The wedding guests were mingling and flowing with appetizers and speciality cocktails. Its always nice when the couple gets to enjoy their cocktail hour and socialize with their friends and family.

Towards the tail end of cocktail hour I took the newlyweds out at sunset and captured some stunning portraits. Greg has a great attitude towards photos and had no objections to any of the poses I directed them. Iam always so thankful for couples who understand  the importance of photography and are willing to give the time in their wedding day. Look at the outcome!
