As a Petaluma newborn photographer, one of the greatest joys in my work is building long-lasting relationships with families and watching their stories unfold over the years. One such special story is that of Rachael and Kyle—a couple I’ve had the honor of photographing through some of the most meaningful moments of their lives.

Our journey together began with their engagement session, followed by their unforgettable wedding day. From there, I had the opportunity to capture extended family portraits, filled with love, laughter, and generations coming together. When their first daughter arrived, I was there to preserve those precious newborn moments. And now, I’m thrilled to share that I recently welcomed them back into my Sonoma County newborn studio to document the arrival of their newest bundle of joy—sweet baby Macy.

Macy’s session was a beautiful reflection of the love and connection this family shares. Snuggled in soft wraps and surrounded by gentle light, she was the perfect little model. Her big sister was beaming with pride, and watching their bond begin to form was heart-melting.
