Petaluma Baby Photographer

As a Petaluma baby photographer I get to see the cutest babes  all time. This sweet girl, Kenna happens to be the daughter of my former bride and groom. Documenting all their milestones from engagement, wedding, family and now first birthday is such an honor.

Rachel, Kenna’s Mom found this adorable plum colored tulle dress off amazon and it worked perfectly with the shoot. She got a customized black cake topper from Etsy and the cake from a local bakery. She of course had to put a little bow in Kennas hair.

Kenna is already on the move at the time of this shoot she wasn’t even one yet. I was laughing because I have never had such a mobile one year old for a cake smash. The minute Rachel would put her down on her bottom Kenna would jump up and run straight to me.

For all my cake smashes I do portraits of the child alone, the cake smash and then in the tub. It gives such a nice variety and the movement helps keep the child entertained.
