Newborn Photographer in Sonoma County

There is something incredibly special about getting to document multiple chapters of a family’s story. As a Newborn Photographer in Sonoma County, one of the greatest honors of my work is continuing relationships with couplesafter their wedding day. Emily and Trevor are one of those couples whose journey I’ve been lucky enough to witness from the very beginning starting with their wedding day.

Not long ago, I photographed Emily and Trevor’s wedding—an intimate day filled with joy, emotion, and so much love. Fast forward to now, and they are stepping into an entirely new season of life with their beautiful baby boy in their arms. Getting to welcome them  into my studio, this time as parents, was truly full-circle and incredibly meaningful.

We photographed their lifestyle newborn session in my natural light photography studio here in Sonoma County. The studio is designed to feel calm, cozy, and timeless—perfect for relaxed newborn sessions that focus on genuine connection rather than stiff posing. Emily and Trevor settled in effortlessly, soaking in those quiet moments with their new baby while I documented them naturally.

Their baby boy was just 14 days old at the time of the session, which is an ideal window for newborn photography. He slept through the majority of the session, making it easy to capture those peaceful, sleepy moments that parents often remember so fondly. From tiny fingers and soft features to the way he fit perfectly in his parents’ arms, every detail was a dream to photograph. He truly was such a beautiful, content baby.

Lifestyle newborn sessions are some of my favorites because they allow families to simply be together—no pressure, no rush. As a Newborn Photographer in Sonoma County, my goal is always to create images that feel natural, emotional, and timeless, so families can look back and remember exactly how this season felt.
